These terms apply when you use the Mooshie Moments app or website. By using either, you're agreeing to them.
1. Safety and supervision — please read this one
Mooshie provides activity suggestions for educational and entertainment purposes only. Active adult supervision is required at all times.
You know your child, your home and your circumstances better than we possibly can. Before you start any activity, satisfy yourself that it's suitable for your child's age and stage, and that the space and materials are safe. Take particular care with anything small enough to swallow, anything sharp, water, heights, and food allergies.
By using these activities you acknowledge that you are responsible for your child's safety and their environment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mooshie Moments is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from activities suggested in the app or on this website.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Not medical or developmental advice
Mooshie's activities are grounded in child development research and reviewed by experts, but they are general suggestions, not personalised advice. They are not a substitute for guidance from your GP, health visitor, or a qualified paediatric professional. If you have concerns about your child's development, please speak to a professional who knows them.
3. Using Mooshie
Mooshie is for personal, family and educational use.
You agree not to: copy or redistribute our activity content commercially; reverse-engineer the app; use it in any unlawful way; or attempt to disrupt the service for others.
Early years settings and childminders are welcome to use and recommend Mooshie with the families they care for — that's exactly what our partnership programme is for.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Mooshie is free to download, with an optional Premium subscription.
- Payment is handled by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your card details.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Managing or cancelling: in your device Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. You can cancel any time, and you'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy. We can't process refunds for App Store purchases directly, but tell us if something's gone wrong and we'll help where we can.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Early member pricing: where we've promised locked-in pricing, we'll honour it for as long as your subscription runs continuously.
5. Content and intellectual property
All content, activities, images, mascots and branding in Mooshie are owned by Mooshie Moments and may not be reproduced or redistributed without our permission.
You keep ownership of anything you create — photos, journal entries, notes. These stay on your device and we make no claim to them.
6. Nursery and setting partnerships
Partnership packs are provided free to registered early years settings. We may withdraw or change the programme at any time, though we won't ask a setting to pay for something we said was free.
Materials we send you — posters, cards, newsletter copy — are for use with your families and shouldn't be resold or rebranded.
7. Creator and affiliate programme
If you join our creator programme:
- We'll give you a unique tracked link and QR code
- Commission is paid on qualifying subscriptions attributed to your link
- You must clearly disclose the commercial relationship on any post — a visible
#ador "affiliate link" label. This is a requirement of UK ASA and CMA rules, not just our preference. - You must not bid on our brand terms in paid search, make claims about Mooshie we haven't made, or use methods that mislead your audience
- Either of us can end the arrangement at any time; we'll pay commission already earned
- We may withhold commission for activity that's fraudulent or breaches these terms
8. Availability
Mooshie is currently available on the App Store in the United Kingdom, with Android and more countries planned. We aim to keep the service running but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and if the update is significant we'll tell you directly.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, this doesn't affect your statutory rights or your right to bring proceedings where you live.
